Eurovision 2024, Isaak per il riscatto della Germania con “Always on the run” – Testo e significato

Dopo una lunga sfilza di ultimi posti, la Germania tenta il riscatto con “Always on the run” di Isaak. Ecco di cosa parla il brano

Da una manciata di anni a questa parte la Germania non riesce più ad imboccare la strada giusta all’Eurovision Song Contest. Tantissimi ultimi posti, un’autentica maledizione che i tedeschi sperano di interrompere quest’anno con Isaak e la power ballad “Always on the run” che punta tutto sulle capacità vocali dell’artista, e una scenografia di fuoco e fiamme.

Una carriera cominciata appena dodicenne, quando Isaak comincia ad esibirsi per le strade della Germania. La passione per la musica l’ha sempre guidato in ogni esperienza, cimentandosi nello studio della chitarra, del pianoforte, ukulele e batteria. Il grande successo è però arrivato nel 2021, con la partecipazione – e conseguente vittoria – del talent show Show your talent, conquistando un’importante fetta di pubblico e sostenitori.

Isaak descrive la sua “Always on the run” come una panoramica nella sua mente “conflittuale”, attraverso un “suono potente” abbinato a “momenti calmi”. Inoltre, il testo affronta, tra le altre cose, il tema degli opposti, come luce e tenebre, gioia e tristezza, o insicurezza e fiducia in se stessi.
