La Finlandia porta all’Eurovision 2024 la performance più trash dell’anno: ecco Windows95Man e Henri con “No rules!“
La Finlandia, dopo il secondo posto dello scorso anno, questa volta gioca tutte le sue carte puntando sul trash più spinto. Il brano che presentano in gara s’intitola “No rules!” ed è interpretato dal personaggio Windows95Man, nome d’arte di Teemu Keisteri, noto dj finlandese, e dal cantante Henri Piispanen, che dopo l’esperienza nella band Pasa, in Svezia debutta ufficialmente da solista. La loro vittoria al festival nazionale, che gli ha permesso di andare all’Eurovision, ha generato un caso in Finlandia.
Un po’ come accaduto in Italia con il caso-Geolier a Sanremo, la giuria aveva piazzato “No rules!” all’ultimo posto. A differenza del rapper napoletano però, il televoto ha completamente ribaltato il risultato, portando l’inedita coppia all’Eurovision svedese, che ha scritto e composto la canzone in concorso insieme a Jussi Roine.
In varie interviste, Keisteri (Windows95Man) ha dichiarato che la canzone invita a non prendere tutto troppo sul serio, con l’obiettivo di essere il più rilassato possibile durante la sua esecuzione. Inoltre, il titolo della canzone si riferisce al mantra di Keisteri che ha utilizzato per tutta la sua vita. L’artista ha anche espresso il desiderio di far emergere la vera natura dei finlandesi, definiti “pazzi nel profondo”.
