“Traitor” è il nuovo singolo di Olivia Rodrigo pronto per essere lanciato sul mercato radiofonico italiano da domani
La cantautrice multiplatino che ha infranto record su record quest’anno, Olivia Rodrigo, arriva nelle radio italiane con il suo nuovo singolo “Traitor“, tratto dal suo album di debutto “Sour“, già certificato disco d’oro nel nostro Paese, da domani. La traccia, che conta ad oggi oltre 991 milioni di stream totali, ha debuttato alla posizione numero nove della Billboard Hot 100: il quarto brano a raggiungere la top 10 nella famosa classifica americana.
Il brano è stato definito dalla stessa rivista Billboard «la miglior performance vocale all’interno di Sour», mentre The A.V. Club lo ha citato come «il brano più vulnerabile del disco». Austin American-Statesman ha dichiarato che la performance live di Olivia Rodrigo su “Traitor” all’Austin City Limits Music Festival questo mese è stata “stellare” e che “sottolinea cosa significa per le giovani ragazze che vedono i propri artisti prendere il controllo delle loro carriere”.
Con la pubblicazione di “Sour“, Olivia Rodrigo è attualmente l’artista femminile con un album di debutto con più stream di sempre negli Stati Uniti ed ha infranto il record mondiale per il disco più ascoltato di sempre in streaming per un’artista femminile nella prima settimana su Spotify (con oltre 385 milioni di stream globali in 7 giorni). In Italia l’album ha già raggiunto la certificazione oro, mentre i singoli “Drivers License” e “good 4 u” sono entrambi certificati platino.
Inoltre la popstar si esibirà con il suo Sour Tour anche in Italia per un’unica data giovedì 16 giugno 2022 al Fabrique di Milano, a sostegno del suo album di debutto “Sour”, per cui Olivia Rodrigo è stata nominata a ben sette Grammy Awards.
