La Georgia punta a tornare in finale all’Eurovision 2024 con l’esplosiva “Firefighter” di Nutsa Buzaladze. Tutto ciò che c’è da sapere sulla cantante
Un album e singoli di successo, una partecipazione ad American Idol – con tanto di duetto con Kylie Minogue – e il palco dell’Eurovision Song Contest già sfiorato in passato. La Georgia quest’anno intende lasciare il segno alla Malmoe Arena e vuole farlo con Nutsa Buzaladze, artista molto nota in patria che schiera in gara il brano “Firefighter“, scritto da Ada Skitka e Darko Dimitrov, in cui emerge una lotta metaforica contro guerre e odio, affrontati tramite il desiderio di diffondere amore e gentilezza.
Nutsa Buzaladze ha fatto il suo esordio nella musica nel 2017 con il singolo “White horses run“, in lizza per rappresentare la Georgia all’Eurovision dello stesso anno. In quell’occasione però dovette fermarsi a un passo dalla vittoria, in seconda posizione. Due anni dopo pubblica il primo album “Nutsa22” e trova il grande successo con il singolo “Gelodebi“, che le permette di scalare le classifiche in Georgia e in Russia.
Tra il 2020 e il 2021 Nutsa Buzaladze ha partecipato alla versione russa di All Together Now. Si è esibita all’Expo 2020 di Dubai e, successivamente, anche al Teatro Nazionale e al Teatro dell’Opera della città. Nel 2023 ha partecipato alla ventunesima edizione dello show American Idol, dove si è classificata tra i primi 12 prima di essere eliminata. Una carriera importante, quella di Nutsa Buzaladze, che ora è pronta a ruggire sul palco dell’Eurovision, con l’obiettivo di agguantare una finale che alla Georgia manca da otto anni.
